Little King Cafe is a small and quaint little cafe on the main street of Milford.
This cafe is an industrial and sweet, quirky and creative cafe that is suitable for all and has a range of foods, drinks and treats for the whole family. The place was full of young families, with a cute muralled play area for the young ones and flowers in jam jars, the water tap is a fire hydrant.
The food and drinks are all huge serving and sizes and all at very good prices for all to enjoy. The food is all very gourmet and decadent, from muffins to veges and cheese to waffles.
The staff and the owner himself are all around and put a smile on your face and make you feel special and welcome. The design is well thought out, with exposed concrete, a large black and white mural that runs the length of the room, and a collection of industrial furniture providing plenty of seating options to choose between, from large communal tables, bay windows, to smaller more intimate tables scattered around the edges.
The menu is full of an all-day brunch and lunch options, with plenty of cafe classics. Little King’s unusual focus on waffles. An entire page of the menu is devoted to the baked delight, with what seems like every type of topping, both savoury and sweet.
Milford is known for it's history and people that have retired, this cafe though has brightened up the street and brings through young foot traffic and interest from all around.
